**If the hub studs protrude outside the adapter and prevent the wheels to sit flush on the adapter plates, it is required to shorten the factory studs. It happens most often on 1" thick adapters.
Fitment and specs
- Bolt pattern: 5x5" (127mm) on both sides
- Stud size: 1/2"
- Same pattern in and out, so it adds track width
- Sold as a pair
Because both sides share the 5x5" (127mm) pattern, this pushes your existing 5x5" wheels outward for a wider stance rather than changing the pattern. Seat each one flat on a clean hub, torque the 1/2" hardware to your vehicle's factory specification per the torque reference chart, and re-torque after 50 to 100 miles. Shorten any factory studs that reach past the face so the wheel seats flush.
Common questions
Are wheel adapters safe?
Yes, when seated flat, torqued to spec, re-torqued after the first short drive, and fully engaged on the studs and threads.
Do these change my bolt pattern?
No. Both sides are 5x5" (127mm), so they keep your pattern and simply add track width.
