Common questions

Will F-150 or Silverado 1500 wheels fit my 2500HD with these? Silverado 1500 (1999-2023, not the 8-lug 1500HD), Sierra 1500 (1999, 2010 and 2023 models) and 6-lug Tacoma (2005-2026) wheels are 6x5.5 (the five-lug base 2WD Tacoma, 1995-2015, is 5x4.5): the 8x6.5 to 6x5.5 adapter runs them on a matching 8x165.1 hub. F-150 wheels are 6x135 on new-body 2004-2026 models (Lightning confirmed for 2022, 2024 and 2025; 7-lug heavy-duty F-150 wheels are excluded (7x150 confirmed for 2004 and 2014)) and need a 6x135 adapter, which we stock for 1999-2025 Ford F-250/F-350 Super Duty 8x170 hubs, not for 8x6.5. Confirm your hub pattern and measure the hub pilot before ordering. The adapter's hub-side bore must clear it. The dated applications above distinguish 8x165.1 and 8x180 hubs; the listed 8x210 applications are excluded.

What thickness should I pick? These adapters ship 2" thick. The adapter pushes the wheel out by its thickness, so check wheel offset and fender clearance.

Anything special for heavy loads? Torque to spec, re-torque after the first 50 to 100 miles, and check each product's construction (hub-centric where marked in the title). For towing rigs, check that your 6-lug wheel's load rating matches the truck's loaded weight.
