Hub Centric Rings by Hub Bore (54.1mm to 125mm) and Wheel Center Bore
A hub centric ring fills the gap between your hub and the larger center bore of an aftermarket wheel, so the wheel centers on the hub. Its inner diameter (I.D.) must match your hub and its outer diameter (O.D.) your wheel's center bore. Find your hub below, then pick the ring for your wheel bore.

72.6mm and 74.1mm BMW hubs: The BMW 3 Series 1992–2011 (not the 1992–1993 E30 convertibles, which are 57.1mm), 5 Series 1975–1996 and 2004–2016 and 7 Series 1978–2015 have a 72.6mm hub and take the 74mm and 78mm rings. An 87mm ring is listed for the 5 Series 1975–1996, 6 Series 1977–1988 and 7 Series 1978–1996. BMW hubs vary by model and year; use each linked ring only for its stated model years, hub diameter and wheel bore. The 5 Series 1997–2003 has a 74.1mm hub and takes the 78mm ring with a 74.1mm I.D.
Inner diameter (I.D.) = your hub: measure the raised center of the hub with calipers before ordering. The listed nominal size is not proof of clearance: for a hub that measures 0.1mm over a ring's listed I.D., such as Toyota's 106.1mm hub on the 106mm rings, use a ring only if it slides on by hand without forcing and allows the wheel to seat flush.
Outer diameter (O.D.) = your wheel's center bore: measure the machined opening on the back of the wheel, or ask your wheel maker for it. If the wheel bore already matches your hub, you do not need a ring.
Material: our rings are polycarbonate (plastic) and come in sets of 4, one per wheel; one listing, the 72.62mm × 67.2mm ring, does not state this.
Fitting: press a ring into the back of each wheel's center bore, or set it over the hub, before the wheel goes on, with the hub and bore clean so it seats flush. The lug nuts or lug bolts still clamp the wheel: torque them to the values on our torque reference and check them again after the first 50 to 100 miles.
Common questions
What size hub centric rings do I need? Two numbers: your hub (the ring's I.D.) and your wheel's center bore (the ring's O.D.). A 2015 Ram 1500 (77.8mm hub) on wheels with a 106mm bore takes the 106mm × 77.8mm ring.
Which hub centric rings fit a Toyota Tacoma? 6-lug Tacoma 1995–2023 has a 106.1mm hub; the linked 106mm I.D. rings are listed for 108mm or 110mm wheel bores. Tacoma 2024–2026 has a 95.2mm hub; the linked 95.1mm I.D. rings are listed for 106mm, 108mm or 110mm wheel bores. Measure before ordering: for either 0.1mm difference, use a ring only if it slides on by hand without forcing and allows the wheel to seat flush. 5-lug 2WD Tacoma 2005–2015: the 60.06mm and 60.1mm I.D. rings; on a 1995–2004 5-lug 2WD Tacoma, measure the front hub and rear axle flange before ordering because sources disagree.
Which hub centric rings fit a Ram 1500 or an F-150? Ram 1500 2012–2020: the 77.8mm I.D. rings for 87mm, 106mm, 108mm or 110mm wheel bores; Ram 1500 2002–2011: the 108mm × 77.8mm ring. F-150 1997–2026 (excluding HD 7700-payload models through 2003, Heritage, Raptor and Lightning): the 87.1mm I.D. rings for 106mm, 108mm or 110mm wheel bores.
Do I need hub centric rings? Only when your wheel's center bore is larger than your hub. The ring fills that gap so the wheel centers on the hub rather than on the lug nuts or bolts alone.
