4 lug same pattern adapters by bolt pattern & common questions
4x100 same pattern adapters: Civic, Integra, Miata, Corolla, Yaris, Accent, Golf and Jetta
- 54.1mm hub, 12x1.5 thread: the Toyota Corolla 1988–2002, Yaris 2007–2020, Echo 2000–2005, Tercel 1983–1998, Paseo 1992–1997, MR2 Spyder 2000–2005 and Prius c 2012–2019, the Mazda MX-5 Miata 1990–2005 and 2016–2026, the Fiat 124 Spider 2017–2020, the Hyundai Accent 2000–2022, the Kia Rio Base in 2001, 2006, 2012 and 2022, the Ford Aspire 1994–1997 and Escort ZX2 1998–2003 and the Chevy Prizm 1998–2002 take the 4x100 hub centric pair (54.1mm bore, 12x1.5 studs, 1", for factory wheels with a 54.1mm center bore). The 4x100 pair with a 64mm center bore (12x1.5 studs, 1" to 2"), which clears the hub and centers on the studs, is listed for the US models and years named here.
- 56.1mm hub, 12x1.5 thread: the 64mm-bore 4x100 pair is listed for these US models: the Honda Civic 1980–2005 (except the 2004–2005 Si hatchback and the 1985–1987 Civic 4WD wagon), Accord 1982–1989, CRX 1984–1991, Del Sol 1993–1997, gasoline Fit 2007–2020, Insight 2000–2006 and 2010–2014 and US Prelude 1988–1991, the Acura Integra 1986–2001 (except the 1997–2001 Integra Type R), the Dodge Colt 1989–1994 (not the Colt Vista, wagon or AWD) and the Mitsubishi Mirage 1993–2001 (not the JDM VR, ZR, 1.8T or 1.8 V6) and 2014–2022; its listing does not name the Acura EL.
- 57.1mm or 56.6mm hub, 12x1.5 thread: the 64mm-bore 4x100 pair is also listed for these US models: the four-cylinder Golf 1985–1998 (not the Mk3 GTI) and four-cylinder Jetta 1980–1998, GTI 1983–1992, Rabbit 1975–1984, Scirocco 1975–1988, Cabrio 1995–2002 and four-lug Passat 1990–1993 (not the Passat VR6 or Syncro), the Saturn Ion 2003–2007 (not the Red Line) and S-Series SL and SW 1991–2002, the Dodge Aries 1981–1985 and the BMW 320 1977–1983, and for the Chevy Aveo 2004–2011 and Spark 2013–2022 and the Pontiac LeMans 1988–1993 and G3 2009, which have a 56.6mm hub. The Golf, Jetta, GTI, Rabbit, Scirocco and Passat here and the BMW 320 hold their wheels with lug bolts. Bolt-on spacers do not include lug bolts: the pair mounts to the hub with hub-side lug bolts in the vehicle's required thread and the pair's required seat, bought separately. Those hub-side bolts must reach full thread engagement in the hub, with their heads fully recessed below the pair's wheel-side face so the wheel seats flush. The Cabrio 1995–2002 fastener is not confirmed by an outside source, so check what yours uses before buying hardware.
For thinner hub centric slip-ons on these cars, see 4 lug wheel spacers.
4x114.3 (4x4.5") same pattern adapters: Accord, Prelude, Elantra, Sonata, 240SX, Altima and Sentra
- 12x1.5 thread: the Honda Accord 1990–1997 (on a 1995–1997 V6, count the lugs before ordering), four-cylinder Accord in 1998 and 2002 and Prelude 1992–1996 and the Acura Legend 1986–1990 and Vigor 1992–1994 (64.1mm hub), the Hyundai Elantra 1992–2006, US Sonata 1989–2005, Accent 1995–1999 and Tiburon 1997–2001 (67.1mm hub) and the Mazda 626 1983–1987 (59.6mm hub) take the 4x4.5" pair (73mm center bore, 12x1.5 studs, 1" to 2"), which clears these hubs and centers on the studs. The 4x114.3 Nissans and the Infiniti G20 use a 12x1.25 thread, which this 12x1.5 pair does not match; they take the hub centric Nissan pair below.
- 12x1.25 thread, 66.1mm hub: the Nissan 240SX 1989–1994, 200SX 1984–1988, Altima 1993–2001, Sentra 2000–2006 and 2007–2012 (not the five-lug 2007–2012 SE-R or SE-R Spec V), US Cube 2009–2014, first-generation Versa 2007–2012 (the second generation, also sold as a 2012, uses a different pattern and is not matched here) and US Maxima 1984–1988 and the Infiniti G20 1991–1996 and 1999–2002 take the 4x4.5" hub centric Nissan pair (66.1mm bore, 12x1.25 studs, 1", for factory wheels with a 66.1mm center bore).
4x108 (4x4.25") same pattern adapters: Focus, Fiesta, Contour and EcoSport
The US Ford Focus 2000–2011, Fiesta 1978–1980 and 2011–2019, Contour 1995–2000 and EcoSport 2018–2022 and the Mercury Mystique 1995–2000 and Cougar 1999–2002 use 4x108 with a 12x1.5 thread and a 63.4mm hub: fit the 4x4.25" pair (73mm center bore, 12x1.5 studs, 1" to 1.5"). On a four-lug Mustang, check the stud thread before ordering: the Mustang 1974–1978 uses the 4x108 pattern with a 1/2"-20 thread, which the 12x1.5 pair does not match.
4x110 same pattern adapters: RX-7, 626 and 4x110 ATVs
The US Mazda RX-7 1979–1985 (except the GSL-SE, which is 4x114.3) and 626 1979–1982 use 4x110 with a 12x1.5 thread and a 59.6mm hub: fit the 4x110 pair (73.1mm center bore, 12x1.5 studs, 1" or 1.25"). For ATVs with a 4x110 hub and 10x1.25 studs, the 4x110 ATV pair (76.2mm center bore, 10x1.25 studs, 1" or 2") matches that pattern and thread; confirm your machine's stud thread and hub before ordering.
4x156, 4x137, 4x136, 4x144, 4x4", 4x130 and 4x98 adapters sold by pattern and thread
These pairs are sold by pattern and thread, without a vehicle matched on this page, so confirm your pattern, stud thread and hub before ordering:
- the 4x156 ATV pair with 3/8"-24 studs (1" or 2") and the 4x156 ATV pair with 12x1.5 studs (1.25"), both with a 131mm center bore;
- the 4x137 ATV pair and the 4x136 ATV pair with 10x1.25 studs (101.6mm center bore, 1.5" or 2") and the 4x144 ATV pair with 10x1.25 studs (117.7mm center bore, 1.5" or 2");
- the 4x4" pair with 12x1.5 studs (64mm center bore, 1") and the 4x4" ATV pair with 1/2" studs (60mm center bore, 1" to 2");
- the 4x130 pair with 14x1.5 studs (78mm center bore, 1" to 1.5") and the 4x98 pair with 12x1.5 studs (1"). The Fiat 124 Spider 1970–1985 and Fiat 500 2012–2019 use 4x98 with a 12x1.25 thread, which the 12x1.5 4x98 pair does not match.
How to choose a 4 lug same pattern adapter
Bolt-on spacers bolt directly to factory studs using separate hardware and feature their own integrated studs to mount the wheel, ideal for wider setups. A same pattern adapter is built that way, with the same 4 lug pattern on both faces; the 54.1mm and 66.1mm hub centric pairs are also bored to the hub, so the hub, not the studs, centers them.
- Thread: the pair's studs must carry your vehicle's thread. On a hub with wheel studs, lug nuts in your vehicle's stud thread and the pair's required seat clamp the pair to the hub. On a hub with lug bolts, bolt-on spacers do not include lug bolts: the pair mounts to the hub with hub-side lug bolts in the vehicle's required thread and the pair's required seat, bought separately. Those hub-side bolts must reach full thread engagement in the hub, with their heads fully recessed below the pair's wheel-side face so the wheel seats flush. The wheel then mounts on the pair's studs with lug nuts that match both the pair's stud thread and your wheels' seat (check whether the listing includes nuts).
- Hub bore: a hub centric pair's bore matches the hub; a lug centric pair's center bore only has to clear it. A bore smaller than your hub will not seat. If your vehicle is not named above, measure the hub, or measure your bolt pattern if you are unsure of it.
- Thickness: 1" to 2" depending on the pair. Start with the thinnest that clears; on a thin pair whose listing says so, factory studs that stand proud of its face and stop the wheel seating flush need shortening.
- Torque: torque to your vehicle maker's specification and check the nuts or bolts again after the first 50 to 100 miles.
Common questions
Is a same pattern wheel adapter the same as a wheel spacer? Yes. These bolt-on wheel spacers keep the same bolt pattern on both faces and move each wheel outward by the adapter's thickness. They do not convert the pattern. To run wheels with a different bolt pattern, see wheel adapters.
Which 4 lug adapters fit a Honda Civic? US Civic 1980–2005 (except the 2004–2005 Si hatchback and the 1985–1987 4WD wagon): the 4x100 pair with a 64mm center bore.
Which adapters fit a Mazda Miata? MX-5 Miata 1990–2005 and 2016–2026: the 4x100 hub centric pair (54.1mm bore, for factory wheels with a 54.1mm center bore); US Miatas in both year ranges are also listed for the 4x100 pair with a 64mm center bore.
