Universal Multi-Fit Slip-On Wheel Spacers

Universal spacers by lug count and bolt pattern

  • 4 and 5 lug: 3mm and 5mm rings for 4 and 5 lug patterns from 100mm to 120mm; a 5/16" ring for 4x100 to 4x114.3.
  • 5 lug: 3/16" and 5/16" rings for 5x100 to 5x120 (the 5/16" ring is not for a 5x100 hub with 14x1.5 studs); 1/4" and 3/16" rings for 5x4.5" to 5x5"; a 1/2" ring for 5x108 to 5x127; a 1/4" ring for 5x150 and 7x150.
  • 5 and 6 lug: 1/4" and 1/2" rings for 5x135, 5x139.7 (5x5.5"), 6x135 and 6x139.7 (6x5.5"); their listing says they do not fit the Dodge Dakota, the GMC Envoy or the Trailblazer. A 1/4" ring for 6x114.3 (6x4.5") and 6x127 (6x5").
  • 8 lug: 1/4" and 1/2" rings for 8x165.1 (8x6.5"), 8x170 and 8x180; a 7/32" ring for 8x165.1 and 8x170 only; and for 8x200 and 8x210, a 1/4" ring in 6061-T6 billet aluminum, a second 1/4" ring and a 1/2" ring. See 8 lug wheel spacers.

Three checks before you order

  • Pattern: the ring's slots must cover your bolt pattern. If you are unsure of it, measure your bolt pattern.
  • Center opening: these rings are not hub centric, so check that the ring's center opening clears your hub and that the wheel still centers on the hub or the lug nuts. For a spacer bored to your hub, see hub centric slip-on wheel spacers.
  • Thread engagement: a slip-on takes its own thickness out of the thread engagement on your studs. On stud cars, never shorten the studs on a slip-on; keep the thread engagement required by the vehicle, wheel and fastener manufacturers, fit suitable longer studs if they fall short, and check that closed-end lug nuts do not bottom out. On lug-bolt cars, use longer lug bolts in your vehicle's thread and your wheel's seat, long enough for the thread engagement required by the vehicle, wheel and fastener manufacturers at the spacer thickness you choose, and check that they do not contact brake or other components.

Common questions

When should I choose a universal ring instead of a bolt-on spacer? For a thin adjustment, 3mm to 1/2", where your studs keep full thread engagement. For more than that, see bolt-on wheel spacers. Bolt-on spacers bolt directly to factory studs using separate hardware and feature their own integrated studs to mount the wheel, ideal for wider setups.

How tight should the lug nuts be? Torque them to your vehicle maker's specification and check them again after the first 50 to 100 miles.
