**If the hub studs protrude outside the adapter and prevent the wheels to sit flush on the adapter plates, it is required to shorten the factory studs. It happens most often on 1" thick adapters.

These convert your 6x4.5" hub to a 6x5.5" wheel pattern. Seat each adapter flat against a clean hub with full thread engagement, then torque to your vehicle's factory specification using the torque reference chart. Re-torque after 50 to 100 miles of driving. If your factory studs protrude past the adapter face, shorten them so the wheel sits flush.
