Hand-thread each bolt several turns before using any tools, then tighten in a star pattern with a torque wrench set from our torque reference chart. Re-torque after 50 to 100 miles, since fresh hardware can settle slightly as the wheel seats.

Will a ball seat bolt work in a wheel with tapered holes?
No. Ball, conical, and mag seats are not interchangeable. These are ball seat bolts, which match the rounded seat used in many factory Mercedes Benz, Volkswagen, and Audi wheels. The wheel seat has to match the bolt exactly.
How do I check that a 50mm shank is right for my setup?
Measure the shank of the bolts you are removing, from under the seat to the end of the threads. Replacing like for like keeps thread engagement the same; thicker wheels change the length you need.
