A left-hand nut tightens counterclockwise, so start each one by hand for a few full turns to be sure it is running on straight. Snug the wheel down in a star pattern, then finish to your vehicle's spec with a torque wrench, using our torque reference chart as a guide. Re-torque after 50 to 100 miles.
Common questions
What does LH mean on a lug nut?
LH is a left-hand thread, which tightens counterclockwise, the opposite of a standard nut. It only fits left-hand studs, which are usually stamped with an L on the end. If your current nuts tighten clockwise, you need a standard right-hand nut instead.
How do I know the seat will match my wheel?
The seat has to match the wheel as closely as the thread matches the stud. Conical, mag, and ball seats are not interchangeable, so compare a nut you are removing against the specification drawing on this page before ordering.
