Common questions
What does LH mean?
Left-hand thread. The nut tightens counterclockwise and loosens clockwise, the reverse of standard hardware. Many older trucks used left-hand studs on one side of the vehicle so wheel rotation would not work the nuts loose.
How do I know if my truck takes LH nuts?
Check your existing hardware: if a nut comes off when turned clockwise, that stud is left-hand. Verify each position, since one side of the truck can differ from the other, and never force a nut that fights you in the first turns.
