Choosing spike lug nuts
Our kits use a true 60 degree tapered seat under the spike, so they torque and hold like a standard acorn nut. Kits are sized to match your lug count, four wheels covered, and spline-base versions add theft deterrence.
Common questions
Are spike lug nuts legal and safe? They install and torque like standard tapered-seat nuts, so the wheel is held exactly as designed. Check local vehicle codes if your state regulates protruding accessories.
Do spikes affect torque or installation? No. The spike is cosmetic; the seat under it is a standard 60 degree taper. Torque to your vehicle's spec with the included key or a deep socket that fits.
Chrome or black, which holds up better? Both use plated steel; black shows brake dust less, chrome shows shine more. Wash road salt off either finish to keep it looking new.
