Chrome Acorn Tuner Lug Nuts 1/2"
Optional 16, 20 or 24 piece 1/2" tuner style chrome plated lug nut set with key. The hex key has both 3/4" and 13/16" head. These lug nuts are heat treated for extra strength. The lug nuts have 6 point (hex) opening , which adds additional security, as regular hex keys or keys from other manufacturers can't open these. Tuner lug nuts are used for tuner style wheels which have smaller holes. These lug nuts are used for tuner wheels on Ford Mustang and many other cars that have 1/2" thread size studs. Because the tuner body is narrow, seat each nut by hand and use a tuner key socket to bring it to your vehicle's factory specification in a crossing pattern. Confirm the value on the torque reference chart and re-torque after 50 to 100 miles.
Common questions
Do tuner lug nuts need a special tool?
Yes. The slim body uses a key adapter that fits your socket, which also adds a bit of security since a standard socket will not grip them.
Will these seat correctly on my wheels?
They use a conical acorn seat, which is not interchangeable with ball or mag seats. Confirm your wheels take a conical seat before fitting.
