Wheel Adapters for the Mitsubishi Mighty Max (6x5.5" / 6x139.7mm)

Every Mitsubishi Mighty Max built from 1983 through 1996 rolls on a 6 lug 5.5" (6x139.7mm) hub with a 108mm center bore and 12x1.5 studs. These EZAccessory adapters bolt to that native 6x5.5" pattern and let you run a different wheel bolt pattern, add track width, or clear bigger tires. Pick the adapter that matches the wheels you want to run, confirm your exact year and trim before ordering, and you're set.

Mitsubishi Mighty Max bolt pattern by year

  • 1983–1996 (all Mighty Max, 2WD & 4WD): 6x5.5" (6x139.7mm), fits these adapters

The Mighty Max kept the same 6x5.5" pattern across its entire run, so year isn't the trap it is on some trucks. The safety check is the pattern itself: your hub must read 6 lug on a 5.5" circle. If a wheel or hub in your build measures 5 lug or a different circle, these 6x5.5" adapters will not bolt up, always confirm your exact year and trim before ordering.

Convert your 6x5.5" Mighty Max to run these wheels

  • 6x5.5" to 5x4.5" (5x114.3mm), 2" thick, pair
  • 6x5.5" to 5x4.75" (5x120.65mm), 2" thick, pair
  • 6x5.5" to 5x5.5" (5x139.7mm), 2" thick, pair
  • 6x5.5" to 6x5.5" (6x139.7mm), Chevy, 108mm bore, 7/16" studs, pair (spacer to add width, same pattern)
  • 6x5.5" to 6x120mm, pair
  • 6x5.5" to 6x135mm, pair
  • 6x5.5" to 8x6.5" (8x165.1mm), 2" thick, pair
  • 6x5.5" to 8x170mm, hub centric, 2" thick, pair

Common questions

What bolt pattern does the Mitsubishi Mighty Max use?
All 1983–1996 Mighty Max trucks use 6x5.5" (6x139.7mm), with 12x1.5 studs and a 108mm hub bore. The Dodge Ram 50 shares the same pattern.

Did the bolt pattern change between years or 2WD/4WD?
No. The 6x5.5" pattern stayed consistent across every model year and both drivetrains. Still, measure your hub and confirm your exact year and trim before ordering, the pattern is the real fitment check.

Which adapter do I need?
Match the "to" side to the wheels you plan to run, for example, 6x5.5" to 5x4.75" if you're mounting 5x4.75" wheels. The 6x5.5" to 6x5.5" version is a same-pattern spacer for adding track width.
