Start each nut by hand so the 1/2" threads never cross, then tighten in a star pattern and finish at your vehicle's spec from our torque reference chart. Re-torque after 50 to 100 miles, since freshly seated hardware settles over the first drives.
Common questions
Is matching the thread size enough?
Thread is only half the fit. The seat has to match too: these are bulge acorn nuts with a tapered seat, and tapered, mag, and ball seat designs are not interchangeable. If your wheels are cut for a different seat, the nut will not clamp correctly.
How many should I order?
They are sold per piece rather than in a set, so count the studs on your vehicle and order one nut for each. That also makes it easy to pick up a single replacement for a lost or damaged nut.
