Start every nut by hand to protect the stud threads, then bring the wheel down evenly in a star pattern. Finish with a torque wrench set to the value shown for your vehicle on our torque reference chart, and re-check torque after 50 to 100 miles.
Common questions
Are these interchangeable with mag or ball seat lug nuts?
No. Bulge acorn nuts clamp on a tapered conical seat, and a wheel machined for mag or ball seat hardware will not seat correctly with them. Match the style your wheel was designed around.
What socket do these take?
They use a 3/4" hex. A snug, good-condition socket is worth using here, since a loose or worn one can round the corners and scuff the blue finish during installation.
