Thread each nut on by hand a few turns before reaching for a tool so the washer sits flat against the wheel. Tighten in a star pattern to the spec in our torque reference chart, then re-torque after 50 to 100 miles of driving.
Common questions
Are mag seat lug nuts interchangeable with conical seat nuts?
No. Mag style nuts like these clamp through a flat built-in washer and shank, while conical nuts seat on a taper. The wrong seat type will not center the wheel or hold torque, so match the seat your wheel was drilled for.
Can I buy just one to replace a damaged nut?
Yes. These are sold individually, so order a single replacement or enough for a full set, whatever your situation calls for.
