This type of adapter is used for 8 lug 180mm bolt pattern cars to fit 6 lug 5.5" (139.7mm) bolt pattern wheels. CNC machined billet aluminum and 2" in thickness. New wheel studs are included.

Popular application examples include putting 6 lug Chevy wheels on 8 lug Chevy 2011 and after.

Attention: For some 4WD locking hub like the following, these adapters will NOT work. These hubs normally stick out a few inches and will protrude outside the inner piece adapter; thus not allowing the out piece adapter to be installed.

Will not fit Locking Hubs or Full Floating Axles

Fitment and specs

  • Hub side bolt pattern: 8x180mm
  • Wheel side bolt pattern: 6x5.5" (6x139.7mm)
  • Thickness: 2"
  • Bolts to your 8x180mm hub so you can run 6x5.5" wheels
  • Sold as a pair, with free US shipping

Set each adapter flat on a clean hub with full stud and thread engagement, then torque to your vehicle's factory specification using the torque reference chart. Should any factory studs protrude past the adapter face, shorten them so the wheel seats flush. Re-torque after 50 to 100 miles.

Common questions

Are wheel adapters safe?
Yes, when the adapter sits flat on the hub with full stud and thread engagement and is torqued to spec, then re-torqued after the first short drive. Flat seating and proper torque are essential.

Can this change both my bolt pattern and lug count?
Yes. It mounts to an 8 lug 8x180mm hub and presents a 6 lug 6x5.5" face, so you can run 6 lug wheels on an 8 lug hub, while the 2" thickness adds track width.
