**If the hub studs protrude outside the adapter and prevent the wheels to sit flush on the adapter plates, it is required to shorten the factory studs. It happens most often on 1" thick adapters.

Make sure each adapter sits flush against a clean hub face; if the factory studs protrude past the adapter plate, shorten them so the wheel seats flat, which comes up most often on 1 inch thick adapters. Torque the adapter fasteners to spec, then the wheel, using our torque reference chart. Re-torque after the first 50 to 100 miles.
