Install each adapter on a clean, flat hub face and torque the adapter fasteners to spec before the wheel goes on. Mount your 4x156 wheels on the included studs and torque them as well, following our torque reference chart. Re-torque all hardware after the first 50 to 100 miles of riding.
Common questions
Can I use these in reverse to put 4x137 wheels on a 4x156 hub?
No. The direction is fixed: the hub side is drilled for a 4x137mm bolt pattern and the studs on the wheel side are set for 4x156mm wheels. If your machine has a 4x156 hub, you need the opposite adapter.
Are wheel adapters safe?
Yes, when installed correctly: adapter seated flat against a clean hub, all fasteners torqued to spec, full thread engagement on every stud, and a re-torque after the first 50 to 100 miles.
