Use the thread engagement required by the vehicle, wheel and fastener manufacturers. Re-torque after the first 50 to 100 miles and check torque periodically after that. Slide the spacer flat against the hub, hang the wheel, and torque the lug nuts to your vehicle's spec using our torque reference chart. Use the thread engagement required by the vehicle, wheel and fastener manufacturers; do not rely on a single turn count for every thread size. Fit suitable longer studs (or longer lug bolts on cars that use them) if needed, confirm the wheel and spacer seat flush, and check that closed-end lug nuts do not bottom out. Re-torque after the first 50 to 100 miles.
