On a listed vehicle that uses lug bolts, mount the adapter with hub-side lug bolts in the vehicle's thread and the adapter's required seat, bought separately; lug bolts are not included. Confirm full engagement, fully recessed bolt heads and flush seating. Examples using 14x1.5 lug bolts are the Volkswagen Mk4 Golf 1999-2006, GTI 1999-2005 and Mk4 Jetta 1999-2004.

**If the hub studs protrude outside the adapter and prevent the wheels to sit flush on the adapter plates, it is required to shorten the factory studs. It happens most often on 1" thick adapters.

Trim any factory studs that poke past the adapter face so the wheel seats flush.
