Common questions
Are wheel adapters safe?
Yes, when installed correctly. The adapter must sit flat against the hub, every fastener torqued to spec with full thread engagement, then re-torqued after 50 to 100 miles. Problems trace back to skipped steps, not to a properly mounted adapter.
Will these change how my wheels sit?
Yes. Each wheel moves outboard by the thickness of the adapter, so account for that along with wheel offset if fender or suspension clearance is tight.
