Fitment and specs
- Bolts to a 5x5" (5x127mm) hub
- Accepts 8x6.5" (8x165.1mm) wheels
- Takes a 5-lug hub to an 8-lug wheel
- 2" thickness per adapter
- Sold in pairs, free US shipping
This lets a 5x5" hub carry 8x6.5" wheels. Make sure each adapter beds flat on a clean mounting surface, then torque the fasteners to your vehicle's factory specification with help from the torque reference chart and re-torque after 50 to 100 miles. Any factory studs that protrude past the adapter face need to be trimmed so the wheel seats flush.
Common questions
Are wheel adapters safe?
They are when seated flat against the hub with full stud and thread engagement, torqued to your factory spec, and re-torqued after the first short drive.
Will 8-lug wheels really bolt to my 5-lug hub?
Yes. The adapter carries a 5x5" pattern on the hub side and a full 8x6.5" pattern on the wheel side.
