**If the hub studs protrude outside the adapter and prevent the wheels to sit flush on the adapter plates, it is required to shorten the factory studs. It happens most often on 1" thick adapters.

Set each adapter flush against a clean hub so it seats evenly, then torque both the adapter and the wheel to your vehicle's factory specification using the torque reference chart. Check that every stud has full thread engagement, and shorten any factory studs that protrude past the adapter face so the wheel seats flush. Re-torque after 50 to 100 miles.
