**If the hub studs protrude outside the adapter and prevent the wheels to sit flush on the adapter plates, it is required to shorten the factory studs. It happens most often on 1" thick adapters.
Fitment and specs
- Bolts to 6x5.5" (6x139.7mm) hubs on older Chevy cars and trucks
- Accepts 6x5.5" (139.7mm) bolt pattern wheels
- 108mm bore
- 7/16"-20 wheel studs, with new lug nuts included
- CNC machined billet aluminum
- Listed applications include K-5 Blazer (69-70), full size Blazer 2WD/4WD (71-91), pickups and vans (46-70), and Chevy 4WD trucks and vans (71-87)
Because both sides share the same 6x5.5" pattern, these serve as spacers: they bolt to your hub and set the same-pattern wheels further out for added track width. If the factory studs protrude past the adapter face, shorten them so the plates sit flush. Torque everything to spec with our torque reference chart and re-torque after 50 to 100 miles. Sold as a pair with free US shipping.
Common questions
Are wheel adapters safe?
Yes, when installed properly: seated flat against the hub, torqued to spec, re-torqued after the first 50 to 100 miles, and with full thread engagement on every stud.
Will these fit my 1980 Chevy 4WD truck?
Yes. Chevy 4WD trucks and vans from 71-87 are on the application list. Confirm your bolt pattern is 6x5.5" and that your center hub fits the 108mm bore before ordering.
