Set each adapter on a clean hub face and make sure the wheel seats flat. Studs that protrude past the adapter must be trimmed so the wheel sits flush. Torque the hardware to your vehicle's factory specification with help from our torque reference chart, and re-torque after 50 to 100 miles.
Common questions
Are wheel adapters safe?
They are when seated flat against the hub with full stud and thread engagement, torqued to spec, and re-checked after a short drive. Inspect them at every tire rotation.
Does the 2" thickness push my wheels out?
Yes. Along with the 6-to-5 lug conversion, it adds 2" of spacing per side, widening your stance and clearing bigger brakes or tires.
