Common questions
Are wheel adapters safe?
Yes, provided they are installed right: seated flat against the hub, torqued to spec, re-torqued after 50 to 100 miles, and run with full stud engagement on every lug. Correct torque and clean mating surfaces are what make an adapter setup reliable.
Why is this adapter two pieces?
The 6x5.5 and 5x120 hole positions overlap, so one plate cannot carry both patterns. The two-piece combination design puts each bolt pattern on its own plate, which is what makes this conversion possible.
