Place each adapter flat against a clean hub and torque the hardware to your vehicle's factory specification, then check that the wheel seats flush across the whole face. If factory studs stick out past the adapter, shorten them so the wheel can sit flat. See the torque reference chart and re-torque after the first 50 to 100 miles.
Common questions
Are wheel adapters safe?
Yes, when the adapter is seated flat on a clean hub, torqued to spec, re-torqued after the first 50 to 100 miles, and running full stud and thread engagement. Those conditions keep the joint solid.
What does this adapter change?
It converts your 6x5.5" hub to a 6x4.5" mounting face, letting you run six-lug wheels drilled for the narrower pattern.
