Common questions
Are wheel adapters safe?
Yes, when installed correctly. The adapter must sit flat on a clean hub, all hardware torqued to spec with full stud engagement, and re-torqued after the first 50 to 100 miles.
Why won't my wheel sit flush against the adapter?
If the factory hub studs stick out past the adapter face, they hold the wheel off the plate. Shortening the factory studs fixes this, and it comes up most often with 1" thick adapters.
