Mount each spacer flat against a clean hub face, then install the wheel on your factory studs and torque the lug nuts to your vehicle's spec from our torque reference chart. Re-torque after 50 to 100 miles of driving. A 1/2" spacer takes up more stud length than a thin one, so verify engagement before you drive.
Common questions
How do I know my studs are long enough for a 1/2" spacer?
Install the spacer and wheel, then count turns as you thread each lug nut on. About seven full turns before seating means you have enough stud. If you get noticeably fewer, run longer studs before using these.
Are wheel spacers safe to drive on?
Yes, when installed correctly. The spacer must sit completely flat against the hub, the lug nuts torqued to spec with full thread engagement, and everything re-checked after the first 50 to 100 miles.
