The bolt pattern carries through unchanged, so this spacer pushes each wheel out slightly instead of converting to another pattern. Set it flat on a clean hub, torque to your vehicle's factory specification using the torque reference chart, and re-torque after the first 50 to 100 miles. Do not shorten wheel studs merely because they project through this slip-on spacer. Use wheel studs or lug bolts with the required thread and seat, long enough to maintain the thread engagement required by the vehicle, wheel and fastener manufacturers at the chosen spacer thickness; fit suitable longer hardware if needed. Confirm that the spacer and wheel seat flush, lug nuts do not bottom out, and fasteners do not contact other components.
