Tips
+ For some 4WD locking hubs, these adapters will NOT work. These hubs normally stick out a few inches and will protrude outside the inner piece adapter, thus not allowing the outer piece adapter to be installed.
+
How to install 2-piece conversion adapters
+ We recommend that your lug nuts should make at least seven turns or until the wheels are secured
+ Perform a periodic check to ensure that they are torqued accordingly.
+ Our
application guide page will answer most of your application fitment questions!

Fitment and specs

  • 8-to-6 lug wheel adapter, sold in pairs
  • Hub side: 8x6.5" (8x165.1mm)
  • Wheel side: 6x5.5" (6x139.7mm)
  • Thickness: 2"

This 2" adapter bolts to your 8x6.5" (8x165.1mm) hub so you can run 6x5.5" (6x139.7mm) wheels. Seat it flat on a clean hub, torque the hardware to your vehicle's factory specification using the torque reference chart, and re-torque after 50 to 100 miles. If factory studs protrude past the adapter face, shorten them so the wheel seats flush.

Common questions

Are wheel adapters safe?
Yes, when seated flat against a clean hub, torqued to spec, re-torqued after the first drive, and with full thread engagement on every stud. Free US shipping is included.

Does this change my lug count?
Yes. It mounts to an 8x6.5" hub and provides a 6x5.5" face, letting you run 6-lug wheels on an 8-lug hub.
