Seat each adapter flat on a clean hub and torque the mounting hardware to your vehicle's factory specification, confirming the wheel face sits flush before you tighten it down. Shorten any factory studs that protrude past the adapter so the wheel can rest flat. Use the torque reference chart and re-torque after the first 50 to 100 miles of driving.
Common questions
Are wheel adapters safe?
Yes, as long as each adapter is flush on a clean hub, torqued to spec, re-torqued after the first 50 to 100 miles, and running full stud and thread engagement. Those steps keep everything held tightly in place.
Will my current wheels still bolt on?
Only wheels drilled for 6x135mm will fit the outer face. The adapter converts your 6x5.5" hub, so it does not accept your original 6x5.5" wheels.
