Start every nut by hand for several turns to protect the threads, then snug the wheel down in a star pattern. Torque to your vehicle's spec with a torque wrench, using our torque reference chart as a guide, and re-torque after 50 to 100 miles of driving.
Common questions
Will these seat correctly in my wheels?
These are cone seat lug nuts, so they belong in wheels machined with a tapered lug pocket. Cone, mag, and ball seat designs are not interchangeable; if your current nuts use a flat washer or a rounded seat, these are not the right style.
Will an impact wrench damage the finish?
It can if you run them down at full power. Use a clean six-point socket, seat them gently, and do the final tightening with a torque wrench to protect both the black finish and the studs.
