Start each bolt by hand to avoid cross-threading, then tighten in a star pattern to spec. When used on a wheel adapter, torque these bolts fully before the wheel goes on, using our torque reference chart as a guide. Re-torque after 50 to 100 miles either way.
Common questions
Why choose a short head bolt?
The compact head clears tight spots where a standard head would interfere, which is why these work well inside wheel adapters and under center caps that sit close to the hardware.
Do these work in a wheel machined for ball or mag seat hardware?
No. Seat types are not interchangeable. These have a conical seat, so the wheel or adapter they thread into needs a matching conical (tapered) seat to center and clamp properly.
