Bolt-on wheels have to be held in position while the first bolt starts, so a second set of hands or an alignment pin makes the job easier. Start all bolts by hand, snug them with a 22mm socket, then torque in a star pattern per our torque reference chart and re-torque after 50 to 100 miles.

How do I confirm 52mm is the right shank?
The shank is the smooth section between the seat and the threads. Measure one of the bolts you are removing; it should be about 52mm with roughly 20mm of thread beyond it. If your originals read differently, pick the matching length, and contact us if you are unsure.
Does the seat need to match my wheels?
Yes. These are conical seat bolts, so the wheel's lug holes must be cut for a cone. Ball seat and conical seat hardware are not interchangeable, even at the same thread size.
