Start the bolt by hand so the threads engage clean, then bring it to your vehicle's factory specification with a torque wrench and the torque reference chart. Re-torque after the first 50 to 100 miles once everything has seated. Check that the shank clears the wheel and hub before final tightening.

Does the seat type have to match?
Yes. This is a conical (tapered) seat bolt, and conical, ball, and mag seats are not interchangeable. The bolt has to match the seat shape of your wheel so it centers and clamps correctly.
How do I confirm the thread size?
This bolt is M14x1.5. Compare it to your current lug bolts or the applications shown in the description above so the diameter and pitch line up before you install.
