Start every bolt by hand for several turns so you never fight a crossed thread, then snug them in a star pattern and torque to your vehicle's spec using our torque reference chart. Re-torque after 50 to 100 miles, since new hardware can settle slightly as the seats bed in. A standard 17mm socket fits the head.
Common questions
Will conical seat bolts work with my wheels?
Only if the wheel's lug holes are machined for a conical (tapered) seat. Conical, mag, and ball seats are not interchangeable; the seat is what centers the wheel on the bolt, so match the seat type to your wheels before ordering.
How many do I need?
Price is for each piece, so order one bolt per lug hole. A 5 lug wheel takes 5 bolts, or 20 to do all four wheels. If you are replacing existing hardware, count what is on the vehicle now.
