Place the washer flat against the wheel, thread each nut on by hand first, then torque in a star pattern to the spec in our torque reference chart. Re-torque after 50 to 100 miles, since washer-seat hardware can settle slightly after initial driving.
Common questions
Will these fit my Cragar SS wheels?
Yes, as long as your studs are 12x1.50 thread. These are Cragar style mag nuts with matching washers, and they also fit other cast or forged aluminum wheels that measure 11/16" to 7/8" thick at the stud hole.
Can I swap these in for conical seat lug nuts?
No. Mag style nuts clamp through a flat washer and straight shank, while conical seat nuts center in a tapered hole. The seat types are not interchangeable, so use these only on wheels drilled for mag style hardware.
