This type of adapter is used for 8 lug 170mm bolt pattern Ford trucks to fit 8 lug 170mm bolt pattern wheels. Adapter stud size 14mmx1.5 (fine thread). Studs length outside adapter are about 1.6". CNC machined 6061 T6 billet aluminum. New wheel studs and lug nuts are included.

These adapters can be used on the following cars, among others:

  • Ford: F250/F350 (03-On), Excursion (03-On)

Our premium quality adapters ensures durability and strength. Price is for a pair (2 adapters).

**If the hub studs protrude outside the adapter and prevent the wheels to sit flush on the adapter plates, it is required to shorten the factory studs. It happens most often on 1" and 1.5" thick adapters.

Fitment and specs

  • Hub side bolt pattern: 8x170mm
  • Wheel side bolt pattern: 8x170mm
  • Matching pattern both sides adds track width like a spacer, with a hub centric seat
  • Built for the front axle on the applications shown in the description above
  • Sold as a pair, with free US shipping

Mount each adapter flush on a clean hub with full stud and thread engagement, then torque to your vehicle's factory specification with help from the torque reference chart. Any factory studs that protrude past the adapter face must be shortened so the wheel seats flat. Re-torque after 50 to 100 miles.

Common questions

Are wheel adapters safe?
Yes, provided they sit flat on the hub with full stud and thread engagement and are torqued to spec, then re-torqued after a short first drive. Proper seating is the key.

Why is this listed as front?
Front and rear hubs can differ, so each piece is matched to its axle. This set is built for the front; pair it with the matching rear set if you are doing all four corners.
