Double check the thread direction before you start: this nut goes on counterclockwise, and forcing it the standard way risks damaging the stud. Snug the wheel in a star pattern, tighten to your vehicle's spec using our torque reference chart, and re-torque after 50 to 100 miles.
Common questions
How do I remove a left hand lug nut?
Turn it clockwise to loosen, the reverse of a standard nut. If a nut feels stuck, verify the thread direction before putting more force on it, because turning a LH nut counterclockwise only tightens it further.
Does the seat type really matter?
Yes. A mag style seat clamps differently than a conical or ball seat, and the three are not interchangeable. Use this nut only on wheels made for mag style lug nuts so it seats squarely and holds torque.
