Ball seat nuts need to sit squarely in the wheel's rounded seat pockets, so start each one by hand to avoid cross-threading, then tighten to spec with our torque reference chart. Re-torque after 50 to 100 miles. The open end leaves clearance for the stud to pass through the nut.

Can I use these in wheels made for tapered lug nuts?
No. These have a 14mm radius ball seat, and ball, conical, and mag seats are not interchangeable. The nut has to match the seat machined into the wheel to clamp correctly, so confirm your wheels call for a ball seat before ordering.
