With a mag style lug nut the washer does the seating work, so keep it on the nut and make sure it sits flat against the wheel face before tightening. Confirm the 1" shank suits the lug hole depth of your wheels, then snug the nuts in a star pattern and tighten to your vehicle's spec using our torque reference chart. Re-torque after the first 50 to 100 miles.
Common questions
Can I use mag lug nuts on wheels made for conical (acorn) seats?
No. Mag, conical, and ball seats are not interchangeable. A mag lug nut needs a wheel with a flat washer seat and a shank hole; in a tapered seat it will not center or hold the wheel correctly.
How many should I order?
These are sold per piece, so order one for every wheel stud. A set of four 5-lug wheels, for example, needs 20 nuts.
