Install with the washer in place and seated flat against the wheel, since the washer is the clamping surface on a mag style lug. Make sure your wheel's lug holes accept the 1" shank, then tighten in a star pattern to your vehicle's spec using our torque reference chart and re-torque after 50 to 100 miles.
Common questions
What does the shank do and why does its length matter?
The shank is the straight section that extends into the wheel's lug hole and helps locate the wheel on the stud. It needs to match the depth of your wheel's lug holes: too long and the nut can bottom out before it clamps the wheel, too short and the wheel is not properly located.
Can I use these on wheels designed for conical or ball seat lug nuts?
No. Mag, conical, and ball seats are not interchangeable. These require wheels with flat washer seats and shank-style lug holes.
