Run each nut down by hand until the washer contacts the wheel flat, which confirms the threads started clean. Final-tighten in a star pattern with a torque wrench set to your vehicle's spec from the torque reference chart, and re-torque after 50 to 100 miles.
Common questions
Can these replace conical seat lug nuts on my wheels?
No. Conical, mag, and ball seat styles are not interchangeable. These are mag style nuts, so the wheel needs a flat lug hole machined to accept a shank and washer. If your current nuts have a tapered seat, these will not seat correctly on that wheel.
What size socket do these take?
They use a 1" hex, so a standard 1" six-point socket fits. With a 2.25" overall height, make sure you have enough clearance in the wheel pocket for the nut and your socket.
