Start every nut by hand; a wrong pitch will fight you within the first couple of turns, and stopping there saves the stud. Tighten in a star pattern, finish to your vehicle's spec with our torque reference chart, and re-torque after 50 to 100 miles.
Common questions
What is the difference between 14x2 and 14x1.5?
Both fit a 14 mm stud, but the pitch differs: 2 mm between threads here versus 1.5 mm. They are not interchangeable, and forcing the wrong pitch will damage the stud, so match the marking on your old nut or your vehicle's spec exactly.
Does the seat type need to match too?
Yes. Conical, mag, and ball seats are not interchangeable. These are acorn style with a tapered seat, so your wheel's lug holes need the same taper to clamp evenly.
