Seat the ET conical washer on the shank before installation and thread each nut on by hand first. Bring them to your vehicle's torque spec in a star pattern, using the torque reference chart as a guide, then re-torque after the first 50 to 100 miles.

How can I tell 12x1.75 matches my studs?
Verify against your vehicle's stud spec or a known-good lug nut. Thread pitch must match exactly; a 12x1.75 nut will not run on a 12x1.25 stud, and forcing it will strip the threads. A correct match spins on by hand.
