GM 7/16" External Thread Lug Nut (Small)
Special GM OEM style 7/16" lug nuts with external threads. They have smaller hex size (3/4") These lug nuts fit Chevy, GMC trucks and vans. They are used to accept screw on newer decorative covers or caps onto the older GM trucks and vans which have 7/16" thread stud. Thread each nut on by hand first so you never cross-thread, then bring them down evenly in a star pattern and torque to your vehicle's factory specification. Use our torque reference chart as a guide, and re-torque after 50 to 100 miles of driving.
Common questions
Are lug nut seats interchangeable?
No. Conical, ball, and mag seats each match a specific wheel, and mixing them can leave the wheel loose. Replace with a nut whose seat matches your factory hardware and wheel.
