GM 9/16" External Thread Lug Nut
Special GM OEM style 9/16" lug nuts with external threads. These lug nuts allow newer 90-99 Chevy/GMC wheels to put on 73-87 Chevy and GMC trucks. The internal thread is 9/16". Start every nut by hand to protect the threads, then tighten in a crossing pattern and torque to your vehicle's factory specification. Our torque reference chart walks through the sequence, and you should re-torque after 50 to 100 miles.
Common questions
Can I mix different seat types?
No. Lug nut seats (conical, ball, and mag) are not interchangeable, and the wrong seat will not clamp the wheel correctly. Match the seat of your existing GM hardware.
Will this fit my vehicle?
This nut uses a 9/16" thread. Check it against your current lug nuts or the GM applications listed in the description above before installing.
