Thread each nut on by hand before picking up a wrench, then lower the vehicle and tighten in a star pattern to spec using our torque reference chart. Plan a quick re-torque after 50 to 100 miles, since new hardware can settle slightly as the wheel beds in.
Common questions
What does through hardened actually mean?
Case hardened nuts are only treated at the outer surface. Through hardened nuts carry that hardness through the entire body of the nut, which is how these meet or exceed OEM standards for strength and hardness.
Do these work with any wheel?
The seat has to match. Bulge acorn nuts use a tapered cone seat, so your wheels need conical lug holes. Wheels cut for mag or ball seat hardware are not interchangeable with these, and your studs must be 9/16"-18.
