Set the ET washer in place, then thread each nut on by hand for several turns to rule out cross-threading. Tighten in a crossing pattern to your vehicle's spec using our torque reference chart, and re-torque after 50 to 100 miles as the washers seat in.
Common questions
Can I run standard conical seat lug nuts on E-T wheels instead?
No. Seat types are not interchangeable: conical, mag, and ball seat nuts each mate with a different wheel seat, and old style E-T wheels are built around an ET style nut with its matching conical washer. The wrong seat type will not sit flat in the lug hole and will not hold torque reliably.
How many should I order?
These are sold individually, so order one nut per stud on your vehicle. That also makes it easy to replace a single damaged nut without buying a full set.
